Leonard DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are will be teaming up once again for the film adaptation of David Grann’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.”
“Killers of The Flower Moon” is centered in the 1920s during a time where some of the richest people in the nation were members of the Osage Indian nation due to the large amount of oil that was discovered beneath them. They lived a life complete with chauffeured cars and sending their children to the best school. A life that most people would hope they someday can live.
Things began to change, as one by one members of the Osage were killed. Many who tried to investigate the murders were murdered themselves. Eventually, the case made its way to the desk of the FBI. The Osage murders became of the FBI’s first big cases that lead to them becoming what they are today. Filming is expected to begin in January 2018 in Oklahoma, this news comes via Omega Underground.
Scorsese and DiCaprio have become Hollywood’s Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson with Scorsese of course being the coach.
Currently, Scorsese is shooting “The Irishman” starring Al Pacino, Robert DeNeiro, Joe Pesci, and Ray Ramono. “The Irishman” is based on the 2003 book “I Heard You Paint Houses” by Charles Brandt, which tells the years Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran spent as a mob hitman.
